A Report on the socio-economic situation of Wielkopolskie Voivodship in 2016 is the sixth edition of the publication compiled to present a comprehensive overview of annual statistical data. Using
figures, charts, choropleth maps and analytic commentary, the report provides a synthetic outline of the socio-economic situation in Wielkopolskie Voivodship, including processes and trends observed over the year.

The report is divided into 12 thematic chapters: population, labour market, wages and salaries, social benefits, prices of goods and consumer services, agriculture, industry, construction, residential construction, internal market, financial results of enterprises and investment outlays. In addition, to provide the wider context of the situation in Wielkopolskie Voivodship data are compared with those for the whole country and other voivodships. Data on selected phenomena are also presented for Poznań.
