Drawing on Eurostat data which, thanks to the application of unified methodology, enable comparisons between countries and regions, the present publication highlights changes that have occurred over the last two decades in selected parts of Poland, with emphasis on the Wielkopolskie Voivodship. The process of transformation since 2004 is presented in comparison with statistics for the European Union (27 countries).
