The publication Families in Wielkopolskie Voivodship in the light of the National Census of Population and Housing 2021 focuses on demographic and social characteristics of households and families. The volume contains information about the number, size, family and generational composition of households. Taking into account structural changes resulting from population aging, the analysis highlights the situation of households with people aged 60 or older. Using information about the number and types of families, special attention is given to families with children, including those with dependents up to the age of 24.

Whenever relevant data are available, the results for 2021 are compared with those obtained during the previous census. In the case of methodological differences, the results for 2021 were
recalculated according to the criteria used in 2021 to ensure comparability.
