The volume Living conditions of the population in Wielkopolskie Voivodship is a periodical publication presenting changes in selected variables, which characterise various socio-economic factors affecting the standard and quality of life in Wielkopolskie Voivodship. The content includes information about demography, environmental protection, labour market, household budgets, prices, dwelling construction, education, health care and social wefare, culture or public security. The scope of data arranged thematically has been extended to include macroeconomic indicators related to regional accounts, such as the gross domestic product or the nominal household income, showing the level of the voivodship economic development. The current edition provides information about the period 2010–2015. With respect to reginal accounts, the time series covers the period 2010–2014.
The publication consists of a tabular and analytic section. Tabulated data are organised by topic, showing the structure of the population, including percentages and indexes. Selected variables are also presented at a lower level of territorial aggregation – for subregions and powiats, cross-classified by urban-rural location. In addition, the results for the voivodship are compared against the corresponding values for the country as a whole and other voivodships. The tabular section is supplemented by a commentary, which provides a synthetic overview of the results.
