The volume covers a wide range of aspects to do with the economic activity of residents of Wielkopolskie Voivodship and contains a detailed description of three main groups of the population aged 15 and over: the employed, the economically inactive and the unemployed. In addition to basic socio-demographic characteristics, other relevant information is provided for each group: employment status for employed persons, the period of job search for the unemployed, and reasons for economic inactivity.

The main part of the publication is devoted to the analysis of information about Wielkopolskie Voivodship and how it compares to national statistics and corresponding data for other voivodships. The analytical commentary is accompanied by charts and maps illustrating selected phenomena and tables containing data aggregated at the voivodship level.
