The publication Housing conditions in Wielkopolskie Voivodship in the light of the National Census of Population and Housing 2021 focuses on the housing stock and provides information about buildings located in the voivodship on the reference data, i.e. March 31, 2021 and the type of dwellings found in them. Statistics included in this volume describe the number of buildings, their type and age; in addition, residential buildings are classified in terms of the number of dwellings they contain, forms of ownership and the quality of sanitary and technical installations. The publication contains information about the size of housing stock as of March 31, 2021. Census data are presented in various breakdowns, including by dwelling size, measured in terms of useful floor area and the number of rooms, age (the year of building completion), the presence of basic amenities and the type of entity that owns particular dwellings.

To highlight changes that took place over the decade, census data from 2021 are compared with those collected in 2011. Whenever possible, statistics for the voivodship are presented separately for rural and urban areas and choropleth maps are used to illustrate each aspect of interest across powiats and gminas.
