The Statistical Office in Poznań presents the latest edition of the ”Statistical Yearbook of Wielkopolskie Voivodship” – a staple of our annual publication plan. The Yearbook provides
statistics that characterise the economic and social situation of the voivodship and includes data for 2022, which saw the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. The impact of the pandemic on the
socio-economic situation of the voivodship can be better recognised by comparing figures for 2022 with those for 2019, the last year before the introduction of epidemic restrictions.

The general structure and the thematic scope of the current edition is consistent with the new format introduced in the last two editions. The Yearbook includes final results from the National Census of Population and Housing 2021, e.g. as regards households, families and disabled people.

The current edition also features the Delimitation of Rural Areas (DOW), which was first introduced in the annex to the previous edition of the yearbook again. All statistics presented with reference to Delimitation are placed in appropriate thematic sections.
